The standing and lying calves really belong on the farm. In the calf hut (kalverigloo) they can shelter from bad weather. But if the wheater is better and the sun comes through, then they can stand outside between the fences. Do you want to make it complete then lay loose straw in the white hut, that's nicer for the calf.

The fresh outside air makes the calves grow big and grow further between the cows.
