The 700c wheelset provides speed when travelling on flat terrain yet, coupled with the trekking tyres provides a handful of grip when the ground gets bumpy and loose. The Trail edge gives you the confidence to adventure off the beaten track where road bikes fail, allowing you to take full control of your own adventure. The double wall alloy wheels retain strength when taking the knocks and bumps. The CNC designed braking surface on the rims, delivers smooth and efficient braking allowing the V-brakes to stop you safely: without any defects that may cause vibrations in harsher conditions.
With a 6061-alloy frame, the Trail is lighter than pure steel framed bikes yet, just a strong. This allows the rider to ride with very minimal effort for maintaining speed and coupled with the steel front fork, the rider can appreciate feedback from the path head to maintain balance and control.
With Shimano gearing components, the Trail features a speedy, lightweight, 18-speed gearset which provides ample of range, whether you are ascending, descending, riding the bumps or riding the flats you can be sure to find that extra gear to keep you going forward.
The Dawes Cushioned Discovery saddle and the 620mm wide, riser handlebar provides a comfortable and upright geometry allowing your field of vision to be directly ahead.
